ABOUT SHANNON
Shannon grew up in Annandale, Minnesota, attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA, then volunteered in the Peace Corps in Senegal, West Africa. After Peace Corps she worked a year for the University of Minnesota doing aquatic research. In the fall of 2003 she went to Baltimore to attend Johns Hopkins for degrees in nursing, an RN and Nurse Practitioner.
ABOUT SETH
Seth grew up in Iola, Wisconsin, a town even smaller than Annandale. After graduating from the University of Minnesota he found a summer job doing aquatic research at the University, and in the fall started working as a Pharmacy Tech.
HOW THEY MET
Shannon and Seth met in 2003 when both were working at the University of Minnesota doing aquatic research. In fact, Seth's boss was none other than his future wife! In the fall of 2004 Shannon went to Baltimore to pursue degrees in nursing, and she left Seth behind. But absence did make the heart grow fonder in this case and he joined her out there nine months later, and they became engaged November, 2006.
THE BIG DAY
On August 30th, 2008, Shannon and Seth were married by the lake in Annandale, Minnesota.
THEIR FUTURE
Shannon and Seth now (as of June, 2008) live in Minnesota.
