Toffee Pecan (Pie) Bars

2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup cold butter (or marg.)
1 egg
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 -10 oz. pkg. English toffee bits
1 cup chopped pecans (I used a 6 oz. bag, 1 1/2 cups)
Combine flour and sugar
Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly
Press in greased 9x13 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
In a bowl combine egg, condensed milk, and vanilla, mix thoroughly
Fold in toffee bits and pecans
Spoon evenly over crust
Bake 25 min or until golden brown
Chill until firm before cutting
