Chinese Salad

1 pound finely shredded cabbage
cup sliced green onions (including tops)

2 Tb. sugar
2 Tb. vinegar
- c. oil

1 pkg Ramen Oriental Soup Mix (separate seasoning and noodles)

1 pkg slivered or sliced almonds

1. Combine sugar, vinegar, oil, and seasoning packet from Ramen. 
   Pour over cabbage and onions.  Marinate 4 hours.

2. Toast almonds on cookie sheet in 200< oven until light brown. 

3. Prior to serving, add browned almonds and raw broken noodles 
   from soup mix.
