Baked Beans
Deb Lengkeek, Shannon's mother-in-law-to-be,
brought this to our gathering in 2007

1. Clean 3 cups (1 to 1 pounds) of navy beans (or the smallest white beans available)
2. Soak beans 12-16 hours in a crockpot, covered in deep water. 
3. drain and rinse the beans
4. Combine:
1 c. catsup
c. brown sugar
1 cup water
2 ts. dry mustard
1 raw onion, chopped (opt.)
1/4 pound cut up bacon or ham (opt.)
1 Tb salt
2 Tb molasses
5. Cook on high in covered crockpot 10-12 hours, stirring once in middle.
